Tools you’ll use

Premiere Pro

As a Short Form Video Editor, you will need a high proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. This tool will be your main platform for editing client videos, ensuring smooth transitions, color grading, audio syncing, and trimming clips to meet optimal viewer retention. Familiarity with its extensive features like timeline editing, essential graphics, and integration with other Adobe tools (such as After Effects) will help you craft engaging and polished short-form content that resonates with audiences across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Capcut

CapCut is a versatile tool for short-form content creation, offering features like masking and green screening to elevate your edits. The masking tool allows you to seamlessly blend elements or remove backgrounds for dynamic transitions, while the green screen feature lets you replace backgrounds with custom visuals. These functions make it ideal for creating captivating content with smooth overlays and professional-grade effects, especially when working on projects that demand quick and efficient production workflows.

Who this is not for

You shouldn't apply if you're not comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where deadlines can be tight, and adaptability is essential. If you're not passionate about short-form content or staying up to date with social media trends, this may not be the right fit. A reluctance to take feedback or work collaboratively will also pose challenges, as teamwork and revisions are key to our creative process. Additionally, lacking experience with essential tools like Premiere Pro or CapCut, or being resistant to learning new editing techniques, would hinder success in this role.
